Following the positive feedback at the AgriUmbria fair, LIFE Grace project will travel this Sunday to the 37th edition of the Campoverde National Agricultural Fair ( https://www.mostraagricola.it/ ).
The national fair will take place in Campoverde of Aprilia (LT) from 25 to 1 May 2024 and constitutes the core exhibition between north and south, as well as being the most qualified event in the agricultural sector at a regional level.
Next April 28 Grace has organized, through its lead partner, the Regional Agency for Development and Innovation of Agriculture in Lazio (Arsial), a conference on the enhancement of the cow-calf grazing line, as a distinctive element of the environmental value of extensive livestock farming in the Apennines, little conveyed to a consumer increasingly attentive to the sustainability of the meat chain.
The meeting is aimed at gathering the consensus of producers from several regions on the implementation of the environmental role of grazing in the quality systems of the meat supply chain.
The initiative will be attended by Massimiliano Raffa, ARSIAL Extraordinary Commissioner as well as the referents of the Life Grace project partnership (Prof. Luca Malatesta and Dr. Maco Massimi of La Sapienza University, Dr. Claudio Di Giovannantonio and Dr. Alessandra Macciocchi for ARSIAL, Dr. Alba Pietromarchi for FIRAB and journalist Marco Gisotti). Over the course of the morning, the speakers will raise awareness among the public and the media about the importance of extensive livestock farming-increasingly confined to short supply chain models-for preserving the natural environment and protecting consumers.
