Envisioning the future of Grassland Conservation: results, insights, and proposals in open dialogue with institutions, experts, farmers, and citizens
As the LIFE GRACE project comes to an end, a dedicated day of dialogue and proposals will focus on the future of pasture-habitat management in light of emerging European environmental challenges.
The final conference will take place on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, in Rome, at Spazio Europa—the shared venue of the European Parliament Office in Italy and the Representation of the European Commission.
The event will be structured into three thematic sessions, featuring contributions from researchers, public officials, livestock farmers, representatives of European, national and regional institutions, experts in sustainable supply chains, and local stakeholders.

- Session I Grassland Habitats and the Nature Restoration Law. Perspectives and policy implications
- Session II – LIFE Grace insights on engaging farmers and consumers in the Vegan Era
- 1:00 PM – Tasting Session Sampling products from Natura 2000 pastures
- Session III – Positive actions for active policies Contributions from other LIFE projects and thematic posters
- 3:00 PM – Press Conference with Regional Councillor Giancarlo Righini: Presentation of the Lazio Region’s Forestry Strategy
