On Tuesday 19th June, LIFE Grace will take part in the Integral Ecology Festival in Montefiascone (Viterbo), organized by NET scieNcE Together, with the collaboration of Stampa Romana, Greenaccord e Ucsi Lazio. The event focused on how to promote accurate and evidence-based environmental information, is addressed to journalists, but open to the public as well.
Alba Pietromarchi, a researcher for the LIFE Grace partner FIRAB, will give her presentation titled “Regenerating Parks: the LIFE Grace project across biodiversity, food, community and territory”, during the training seminar “Science according to the Pescasseroli Charter: taking care of our land”, which will be held from 9.30 to 13.30 at the conference room of the Montefiascone Municipal Library.
The theme of the conference – taking care of our land – is one of LIFE Grace’s goals: the project aims at including grass-fed meat from pastures in the local food supply chain, thus making grassland conservation into an opportunity for local economic growth and food education.
